Wastewater Screening Solutions

VibraWaste offers advanced wastewater screening solutions designed to remove debris, enhance operational efficiency, and streamline waste management processes. With systems tailored for both municipal and industrial applications, our innovative equipment, including the Muckraker, handles diverse wastewater requirements with precision and reliability. Our solutions ensure cleaner water, reduce costs and support sustainable wastewater treatment practices.

Advanced Wastewater Screening Technology

At the core of VibraWaste's technology is the Muckraker, a high-capacity screening system that efficiently separates solids, trash, and debris from liquid waste streams. Designed to handle up to 400 gallons per minute of septage, blackwater, greywater, and industrial wastewater with unmatched speed and accuracy. The Muckraker features a vibrating basket with perforated screens that separate liquids from solids, while an integrated auger system compresses and dries waste, reducing weight and disposal fees. This innovative approach ensures compliance with landfill standards, minimizes environmental impact, and protects water quality.

Automated Screening Processes for Efficiency

Automation is at the heart of VibraWaste's systems, eliminating manual labor and streamlining waste processing for greater efficiency. The Muckraker's high-performance feed box rapidly receives waste, directing it into the separation system where dual motors vibrate the basket to separate liquids and solids. The automated auger system transports, compresses, and dries the waste, ensuring faster turnaround times, reduced disposal fees, and cleaner operations. This approach minimizes downtime, enhances productivity, and provides a cost-effective solution for municipalities and industrial facilities.

Offering Quality Control in Screening

VibraWaste integrates rigorous quality control measures into its wastewater screening equipment to ensure durability and reliable performance. The Muckraker's stainless steel perforated screens and spring-loaded suspension are designed to minimize maintenance needs and maximize long-term efficiency. Built to withstand demanding environments, our systems deliver consistent results across municipal and industrial applications, ensuring dependable operation and peace of mind for our customers.

Our innovative solutions transform traditional wastewater management processes, delivering reliable performance in even the most demanding environments.

Setup

From unload to the first truck dumping is about an hour. A forklift or telehandler sets the unit on a prepared pad, the auger assembly slides into its receivers and friction locks, four travel locks are removed, the hood safety switch goes on, and the unit plugs into a 240V NEMA 14-50R receptacle. Site preparation is the customer's responsibility and is covered in our Pre-Delivery Guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I determine which screening system is best for my facility?

Start from Muckraker capacity: up to 400 GPM, 3/16 in aperture, vibrating perforated-basket screening, and auger compression. Sales can talk through flow rate, waste stream, and pad layout.

How energy-efficient are VibraWaste screening solutions?

The Muckraker uses dual motors to vibrate the perforated basket and plugs into a 240V NEMA 14-50R receptacle after customer site prep. It runs on a single-phase 240V RV plug, so operators avoid the three-phase 480V install hurdle and cost that most electric receiving stations face. Ask sales for site-specific power needs.

How do VibraWaste screens improve wastewater treatment efficiency?

The Muckraker is a high-capacity automated screening system: a vibrating perforated basket with integrated auger compression, up to 400 GPM. It removes trash and debris larger than 3/16 inch at the receiving station, reduces bar-screen labor, and sends drier solids toward landfill requirements including the paint filter test when properly operated.

How does VibraWaste ensure compliance with environmental regulations?

The Muckraker is built to separate solids, trash, and debris from septage, blackwater, greywater, and industrial wastewater, compact captured material for landfill handling, and return screened liquid to storage or downstream treatment. Operators remain responsible for local permits and discharge limits.

How long does installation take for a VibraWaste screening system?

From unload to the first truck dumping is about an hour. A forklift or telehandler sets the unit on a prepared pad, the auger assembly slides into its receivers and friction locks, four travel locks are removed, the hood safety switch goes on, and the unit plugs into a 240V NEMA 14-50R receptacle. Site preparation is the customer's responsibility and is covered in our Pre-Delivery Guide.
